As Azadi Stadium is a national stadium, numerous significant events are planned and held there. These include ceremonies attended by leaders, presidents, and presidential candidates.
Concerts were held at Azadi Stadium before the revolution, but there have been fewer large concerts held at Azadi Stadium after the revolution. However, hosting concerts and other events at Azadi Stadium causes significant damage.
