For the ideal experience, I recommend autumn – the colorful foliage creates a breathtaking natural canvas, and you’ll enjoy fewer crowds than in spring.
Getting to Nojian Waterfall
The waterfall is 52 km from the Khorramabad-Dorud-Borujerd highway intersection. From the police checkpoint, head toward Khorramabad’s ring road – after 14 km you’ll see the waterfall sign on your right. Turn left here onto a mountainous oak forest road.
The 38 km route includes 32 km of paved road and 6 km of dirt path. Drive carefully – the sharp turns and lack of guardrails require caution.
From Ahvaz: About 5 km before Khorramabad, after seeing the Borujerd sign, head toward the ring road. The waterfall sign appears after 10 km.
From Kermanshah: Follow the main boulevard south, then turn left to reach the ring road.
