Nakhjir Cave is one of Iran’s limestone caves and a popular tourist attraction in Markazi Province. It was discovered in 1988 as a result of an explosion near its entrance. The cave is named after the region “Nakhjir,” located in the northeastern part of Delijan County.

Chal-Nakhjir refers to a depressed area where hunters would drive animals to make hunting easier. This cave dates back to the Tertiary period and was registered as a national heritage site in 2005 by the Cultural Heritage Organization of Iran under registration number 13814.
